Seeded players are winners of the latest National Yo-Yo contest in one of the recognized countries from the Asia Pacific endorsed by the Asia Pacific Yo-yo Championship committee. They go directly into the finals (3 Minute Freestyle) of their respective divisions without having to do Prelims.

Firstly, you need to be a citizen of / living in the country you competed at, and you need to be the champion of that country’s National contest.

If the National Champion is unable to attend, the seed will not be fulfilled. All 1st runner-ups and 2nd runner-ups, regardless of whether the National Champion is competing, will have to undergo the 1 minute qualifiers.

Unless you are a seeded player, you will still be required to go through the qualifying rounds to make it into the 3-minute Finals.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to compete only on Day 2 or 3 if you are not Seeded. However, you are still welcome to join us as a spectator and participate at the AP Bash on Sunday evening (Ticket required).
